In this section, we are going to look at many different brands of AED units. This is an optional section of the course and you do not have to watch all of these videos. Choose to watch them all if you want to familiarise yourself with different brands of AED or choose to watch the brand, the one that you actually have. If your brand of AED is not listed here, it does not matter as if you can use one type, you can use them all. They will have an on-off button and they will talk you through how to deliver the shock. They will have similar alarms or warnings. It is important that you carefully read the instructions of any AED you are going to use to make sure that you can use it in an emergency, but also so you know how to maintain it correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions.
